Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions utilizing Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall)
Develop comprehensive full-stack solution designs that integrate front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), back-end (.NET Core, Node.js), and database components seamlessly with the Azure platform
Define technical standards, roadmaps, and best practices for cloud-native and hybrid solutions
Act as a hands-on architect; actively participate in proof-of-concepts, technical spikes, and development activities to ensure architectural vision is realized
Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated deployment and testing of both application code and infrastructure
Mentor development and operations teams on cloud best practices, coding standards, and security protocols
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust, technical architectures
Conduct technical reviews, recommend improvements, and ensure solutions adhere to principles of security, performance, reliability, and cost optimization
Stay current with new Azure features and Microsoft technologies to drive continuous innovation
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in architecting and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure
Deep expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless offerings
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM Templates/Bicep
Strong background in the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly in .NET/.NET Core development
Demonstrated experience across the full development stack, including: Front-End: Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
Back-End: C# / .NET Core, designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Experience with Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or other modern data stores
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) or equivalent CI/CD tooling
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network design (VNet peering, VPNs, ExpressRoute), and identity management (Azure AD)
Preferred
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent certifications are highly desirable
