Responsibilities
Coordinate with contractors in the process of installation of fire alarm systems sold by our company
Perform system commissioning on fire alarm systems including loading software programs and implementing modifications as necessary
Conduct testing and inspect fire alarm systems under maintenance agreements
Troubleshoot and repair network hardware and software issues
Identify code and non-conformance issues
Makes recommendations regarding both systems installations and service contract facilities
Generate detailed daily reports, using Company software, on activities completed, deferred and those requiring further action or material
Support emergency on-call assignments based on rotational schedule
Support 2nd & 3rd shift work
Qualification
Required
3-5 Years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
Strong background in fire alarm safety products
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
Experience conducting on-site installations and repairs
Experience providing ongoing training for customer personnel
Ability to coordinate with contractors in the installation of fire alarm systems
Experience performing system commissioning on fire alarm systems
Ability to conduct testing and inspect fire alarm systems under maintenance agreements
Experience troubleshooting and repairing network hardware and software issues
Ability to identify code and non-conformance issues
Ability to make recommendations regarding systems installations and service contract facilities
Ability to generate detailed daily reports using Company software
Willingness to support emergency on-call assignments based on a rotational schedule
Willingness to support 2nd & 3rd shift work
