Responsibilities
Assist with gathering customer needs and lead translating these into detailed control system requirements
Lead the definition, analysis and allocation of requirements across the various engineering areas
Develop the high-level system architecture and perform trade-off analysis for design approaches
Plan machine-level system integration and testing approaches and procedures both virtually and physically
Provide technical leadership for small to medium complex cross functional development projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field of systems, software, mechanical, agricultural, electrical, or aerospace and four year's of product development experience in software, electronics, hydraulics, system and/or machine controls design or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Proficient in developing electronic/hydraulic/mechanical control system
Experience in identify stakeholder needs and translating to system requirements
Data-based decision analysis via structure methods (decision, pugh and trade space analysis)
System integration and verification experience
Skilled in advanced troubleshooting skills, and root cause analysis utilizing FMEA, 8d's, and 6 sigma tools
Ability to communicate low details to broad system context based on needs of audience
Preferred
Strong preference for experience with model-based design and agile software development
Experience using Matlab/Simulink, SYSML, Jira, and Dassault 3D Experience
Familiar with J1939 multiplexed communication and diagnostic protocols
