Responsibilities
Board loans to the bank’s core system, including complex loans with syndications, participations, SWAPs and other specialized or non-standard features
Process loan renewals on the bank’s core system, including complex loans with syndications, participations, SWAPs and other specialized or non-standard features
Process loan modifications on the bank’s core system
Input tickler/exception tracking information as necessary
Process loan advances and loan payments on the bank's core system
Process requested complex loan maintenance on the bank's core system
Process loan account risk rating updates, accrual adjustments, and charge off entries
Review and reconcile daily system generated reports and identify potential errors
Review, research, and post daily unposted loan transactions
Assist with training and mentoring of other department staff
Collaborate with other departments to resolve servicing issues
Support with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Business or Finance related field required
Four (4) years of loan documentation and loan system experience can be used in lieu of degree
Six (6) + years of loan operations experience required
Strong understanding of loan application policies and procedures, as well as documentation required by federal and state regulations
Strong working knowledge of related departments and their connection to loan operations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Effective organizational and time management abilities
Strong computer, keyboard, and software application (Microsoft Word and Excel) skills
Preferred
Advanced knowledge of FIS IBS Loan processing preferred
