New Grad, Entry LevelBrightOps is looking to find a motivated, talented Site Surveyor to join our team! The role involves conducting site assessments, collecting data, and ensuring safe operations while evaluating solar installation feasibility.

Responsibilities
Safe Travel & Professional Conduct: Drive safely to job sites, arrive on time, and be fully prepared with the necessary tools and equipment
Customer Introduction: Greet the customer professionally, introduce yourself, explain the site survey process, and answer any initial questions
Pet Safety Awareness: Politely ask the customer to secure any pets (dogs, cats, etc.) to prevent interference and ensure a safe working environment for both the technician and the animals
Site Assessments: Measure and assess residential and commercial sites, evaluate roof structure, shading, electrical systems, and overall site conditions to determine solar installation feasibility
Data Collection: Use measurement tools and mobile apps to accurately gather information such as roof dimensions, structural details, penetrations, and electrical system specs
Drone Operations: Safely operate drones to scan rooftops, ensuring no nearby trees, power lines, or other hazards are present
Report Preparation: Generate detailed site maps and technical reports for the design and engineering teams
Customer Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with the customer, providing updates and setting expectations throughout the visit
Issue Identification: Identify and document any potential obstacles or code issues that could impact the installation
Documentation & Uploads: Upload all data, site photos, and notes promptly and accurately to internal platforms
Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with sales, engineering, and installation teams to support a seamless project transition
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and awareness of surroundings on roofs and residential properties
Must have a valid drivers license
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must possess an iPhone 11 or newer with a minimum of 128gb of storage to operate company equipment
Required to operate a drone and software
Must have a valid drivers license
