Virtual Assistant to the CEO
Duplo is a Lagos-based fintech startup that enables businesses in Africa to automate their spend management and simplify cross-border payments. They are seeking a Virtual Assistant for the CEO who will provide comprehensive support to the CEO and executive team, manage calendar and logistics, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Provide high-level calendar management for the CEO, including prioritising requests, resolving scheduling conflicts, and exercising sound judgment to ensure seamless day-to-day engagements
Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and internal team members, as well as external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination
Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for meetings, events, and engagements, including scheduling, drafting agendas, and preparing, compiling, and distributing presentation materials
Perform a wide range of administrative and operational tasks that support the CEO’s effectiveness, including assistance with special projects and conducting complex industry and market research
Gather, analyse, and present data to support decision-making for Duplo’s Management Team
Act as the primary point of contact for all matters relating to the CEO, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature, determining appropriate responses, referrals, and actions in alignment with the CEO’s style and company policies
Work closely with the CEO to ensure they are well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, proactively following up on action items and deadlines
Serve as a “barometer” for organisational priorities and issues, maintaining awareness of internal and external developments and keeping the CEO appropriately informed
Anticipate the CEO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, and key engagements to ensure thorough preparation and optimal outcomes
Coordinate team meetings, leadership sessions, and retreats, and provide support for staff meetings and events as required
Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization
Qualification
Required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent time and project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems
Extremely proficient with Google Docs, sheets and slides or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software
Preferred
Experience as a Technical Assistant will be an added advantage
