Responsibilities

Design overall solution architecture and data flow
Define data modeling standards and historical tracking approach
Produce architecture and design documentation and presentations
Ensure alignment with Vermont ADS reference architectures and standards
Define integration and scalability strategies for current and future metrics

Required

Demonstrated experience delivering Azure-based data and analytics solutions
Strong experience with Power BI Premium
Experience designing data models with historical tracking
Experience working with public-sector stakeholders
Ability to deliver training and documentation enabling State staff self-sufficiency
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture and system design
Strong experience designing Azure-based data and analytics solutions
Experience supporting analytics and dashboarding platforms
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred

Prior State or government project experience
Familiarity with Vermont ADS standards or similar enterprise IT governance frameworks
Experience delivering public-facing reporting or transparency dashboards
Experience supporting accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
Azure architecture certifications preferred
