Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems for industrial processes
Develop control system architectures, electrical schematics, HMI/SCADA visualizations, and databases for historical data
Program PLCs using Ladder Logic, Sequential Function Chart, and Structured Text; develop HMI/SCADA systems with VBA, .NET, SQL, Power BI, and Grafana
Implement and integrate industrial networks using protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus
Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure project profitability for projects up to $1M
Interact directly with customers to identify requirements, specifications, and deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science required
10+ years of progressive experience in Controls Engineering, delivering automation projects
Expertise with PLC platforms: Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon
Expertise with HMI/SCADA platforms: ICONICS Genesis64, Wonderware ArchestrA, GE CIMPLICITY, GE iFIX, Rockwell FactoryTalk View
Strong background in industrial automation, electrical schematics, power distribution, and field device troubleshooting
Experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Life Sciences, Building Automation, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Mining, Water/Wastewater
Must be local to Albuquerque or have strong ties to the area
Preferred
Experience with DCS platforms such as Emerson DeltaV
AutoCAD experience
Experience leading engineering teams on large-scale automation projects
