Overseeing daily roasting operations
Maintaining and repairing coffee equipment
Ensuring high-quality coffee production
Managing parts inventory
Coordinating with the production team
Ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
Troubleshooting equipment issues
Scheduling maintenance
Training team members on equipment handling and safety procedures
Qualification
Required
Experience in coffee roasting, knowledge of roasting profiles, and an understanding of flavor development
Skills in equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and mechanical aptitude
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
Familiarity with inventory management and production scheduling
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Flexible to work on-site in the Detroit Metropolitan Area
Preferred
Previous experience in a coffee roastery or related field preferred
Relevant technical certifications or training in equipment maintenance would be an advantage
