Paid Civil Engineering College Internship - District 4 Planning & Engineering-Capital Programs Administration, Various PNs
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) oversees building and maintaining the nation's 5th largest interstate system and the 3rd largest number of bridges. They are seeking a Paid Civil Engineering College Intern to assist with planning activities and traffic engineering studies, gain experience with CADD and district traffic software, and participate in field reviews and scoping.

Responsibilities
Assist with planning activities and traffic engineering studies such as safety and speed zone reviews, traffic counts and accident/traffic signal analysis
Gain experience using CADD, MicroStation and district traffic software
Verify sign and pavement marking locations, photograph project sites and participate in field reviews and scoping
Research plans and maintain accurate records to help prepare reports
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a Civil Engineering degree and in good academic standing with a minimum of a 2.00 GPA
Must show proof of valid driver's license in order to operate state vehicle
The final candidate for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check
