PAID Civil Engineering College Internship - District 4 - 2026 Summer Construction Program, Various PNs
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) oversees building and maintaining the nation's 5th largest interstate system and the 3rd largest number of bridges. They are seeking a Civil Engineering College Intern for the 2026 Summer Construction Program to gain hands-on experience alongside seasoned Professional Engineers in various project locations across District 4.

Responsibilities
Learn proper procedures for contractor work, safety upgrades, signage, drainage, and concrete/pavement/material testing
Assist in project report preparations
Work alongside engineers in the field on projects ranging from simple road reconstruction to complex bridge construction
Gain hands-on experience and learn civil engineering processes firsthand
Qualification
Required
Must currently be enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a Civil Engineering degree and in good academic standing with a minimum of a 2.00 GPA
Must show proof of valid driver's license in order to operate state vehicle
The final candidate for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check
