ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking an Administrative Officer to support the mission of the US Cyber Command. The role involves managing a variety of administrative services, maintaining databases for organizational decisions, and advising leadership on administrative management issues.

Responsibilities
Performing, providing, obtaining, and/or advising on a variety of management services
Maintains, inputs, and revises a variety of comprehensive databases to manage information that is useful in making organizational decisions and processing requests submitted to higher command
Assures that internal management control systems and procedures for carrying out its functions meet the requirements of balancing costs, benefits, productivity, and effectiveness in an effort to identify and eliminate material weaknesses
Serves as action officer pertaining to all aspects of personnel management, reorganizations, organization structuring, and manpower utilization
Principal advisor to the organizational leadership and staff on administrative management issues

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months
This position is required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
This position requires the incumbent to travel away from their normal duty station to other locations within the continental United States (CONUS) up to 5 percent of the time
To qualify at the GG-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
For the GG-09 position, specialized experience is defined as working standardized administrative processes and procedures OR management human resources principles, practices, methods, and techniques OR integrating management services with general management

To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
For the GG-12 position, specialized experience is defined as Experience as an administrative official with responsibility for working standardized administrative processes and procedures OR management human resources principles, practices, methods, and techniques OR integrating management services with general management
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume
All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement
GG-9 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement

GG-11 Substitution of Education for Experience: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree may be substituted to meet the qualifying experience requirement

There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-12 grade level
To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university

If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application
