They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Mobile development using React Native to lead end-to-end development, build innovative features for their mobile app, and collaborate with data scientists and backend developers.

Responsibilities

Building new and innovative features for our mobile app
Collaborate with data scientists and backend developers to integrate our sophisticated product recognition engine on mobile devices
Building pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for experience on par with native applications
Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption

Required

5+ years of experience in building consumer-facing mobile applications in product companies, preferably SaaS
Candidates should be able to demonstrate minimum 2 apps in Appstore/google play which was developed in RN and is currently in use
Deep understanding of advantages and limitations of React Native on both Android and iOS platforms
Experience with camera modules such as expo-camera
Experience in building offline first apps
Source code management using git
Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed
Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc
Experience in at least one native language, Android or iOS(Swift/Objective C)
Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
