Responsibilities
Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution of goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels within our CMMS system, performing regular audits, cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting to minimize discrepancies, stockouts, and overstock
Directly supervise 2 Property Maintenance Specialists, including scheduling, performance monitoring, training, coaching, and conducting regular team meetings to promote productivity and accountability
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes, layout optimizations, and standard operating procedures to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards (OSHA, company policies, etc.), conducting regular inspections and maintaining a safe working environment
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and cost control; prepare reports and recommend improvements
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, operations, finance) to align inventory needs, resolve issues, and support overall business goals
Manage facility upkeep (in collaboration with property maintenance team), and vendor relationships for supplies and services
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and control operational costs
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Operations Supervisor, or similar role in a warehouse/distribution environment (3+ years preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and hands-on experience using CMMS systems for tracking and reporting inventory levels
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams, including direct supervisory experience
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations, best practices, and equipment operation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with warehouse management software/tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment (standing, walking, occasional climbing)
