System Analyst

Responsibilities

Configure and support assigned applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality
Collaborate with end-users to understand workflow requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Assist in the analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of applications
Provide timely resolution of technical issues and application problems, escalating complex issues as necessary
Support system upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience
Participate in on-call support rotations, providing after-hours assistance during outages or critical incidents
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, issues, and resolutions
Engage in continuous learning to stay current with healthcare IT trends and application updates
Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to project planning and execution
Travel may be required to support various facilities or project locations as needed

Qualification

Required

A minimum of four (4) years of experience in information technology or healthcare operations, including clinical departments, medical records, patient access, or revenue cycle management
A relevant bachelor's degree in a related field is required
Certification or proficiency in Epic or other supported modules is required within six months of employment
Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills
Organizational abilities
A customer-centric approach

Preferred

An advanced degree in Information Systems or Business is considered an asset
Candidates with specialized training in information systems are preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and other productivity tools
A solid understanding of healthcare IT systems and workflows
