Customer Success Engineer
Bild is a fast-growing startup that focuses on helping customers successfully implement and adopt their product. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will serve as a technical partner, ensuring the correct implementation of the product while providing support and feedback to enhance customer experience and product development.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute data migrations from: Legacy PDM systems, Cloud storage providers, Local network drives
Validate CAD integrity, metadata, references, and revision history during migration
Ensure customers are live quickly with minimal disruption to engineering workflows
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers
Troubleshoot issues related to: CAD workflows, Assemblies, references, and derived files, BOM generation and synchronization, Revision and lifecycle state management
Help customers design best-practice workflows for: ECOs and releases, Part numbering, Design collaboration
Provide advanced support for edge cases and complex setups
Assist customers with integrations to downstream systems such as: PLM (Arena, Propel, First Resonance, etc.), ERP (NetSuite, SAP, etc.), Collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Teams)
Partner with Product and Engineering to scope and validate custom integration needs
Act as the voice of the customer internally: Surface common pain points, Identify product gaps and workflow friction
Provide detailed, technically informed feedback to Product and Engineering
Contribute to internal documentation, runbooks, and best-practice guides
Support renewals and expansions by demonstrating technical value and adoption
Support Sales with technical discovery and solution design for complex prospects
Participate in technical demos and proof-of-concepts
Help existing customers expand usage across teams, programs, or departments
Qualification
Required
Hands-on, technical customer-facing role
Troubleshoot CAD and workflow issues
Discuss SolidWorks file structures
Explain APIs, permissions models, or automation workflows

Customer-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple customers and projects
Collaborative and eager to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering
Ability to reason about permissions, data models, and automation logic
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Preferred
Experience implementing or administering a PDM or PLM system
Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
Experience working in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
Background as a mechanical engineer or CAD administrator
