Curriculum and Program Development Specialist
Cornell University is seeking a highly qualified Curriculum and Program Development Specialist to join their Office of Faculty Development & Diversity. The role involves collaborating with faculty and academic leaders to design and deliver programs aimed at enhancing department climate and supporting early career faculty.

Responsibilities
Identifying and connecting faculty with support resources for professional development opportunities
Developing and facilitating tailored workshops for faculty mentoring graduate students and other faculty
Facilitating conversations around best practices and action plans to sustain or improve department climate to support faculty in creating a culture of excellence and belonging
Facilitating search committee workshops
Developing and delivering workshops at the new faculty orientation
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Social Work, Human Development, Psychology or Education, Communication, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in curriculum development and program management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with a variety of constituents across the university
Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Experience facilitating complex conversations
Familiarity and experience working with faculty (tenure track and non-tenure track (RTE))
Understanding of the role of academic leadership in supporting faculty and the academic leaders need to be effective in their roles (chairs, deans, associate deans)
Demonstrated knowledge of existing research and literature in the areas of faculty development, campus climate, and department cultures

PhD or EdD or JD preferred
