Training and Professional Development Intern
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is seeking a Training and Professional Development Intern to support their Human Resources and Organizational Development division. This role focuses on contributing to training initiatives and organizing departmental work while assisting with various projects related to training and professional development.
Responsibilities
Review previous annual training survey data and apply findings to current Training and Professional Development projects
Write, update, and organize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal exhibit training, external trainer-led training, and the use of the Learning Management System (LMS)
Collaborate with the Core Planning Team to plan logistics and finalize an itinerary for an internal TCM conference
Support additional Training and Professional Development initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Sophomore, junior, or senior at the college level
Self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to work independently
Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to meet with and gather information from staff outside of the Human Resources department
Proficient use of Microsoft 365, along with a high level of comfort in using technology and social media to conduct research
Preferred
Experience using a learning management system
