2+ years expThe Boeing Company is looking for a Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced & Senior) to join the F-15 Mission System Software Development Team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization and involves designing and implementing new capabilities in the F-15 Operational Flight Program for both the USAF and international customers.

Responsibilities
Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
Executes and documents software research and development projects
Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
Troubleshoots software issues
Works under general direction
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience with professional software development
2+ years of experience in C/C++, Ada, and/or a similar object-oriented programming language
2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree
Agile/SAFe development experience
Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
Desirable programming languages include: Ada, C, C++, Python
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
Experience developing embedded real-time software
Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
