Responsibilities
Audit and monitor product quality for multiple machines
Maintain daily written and SPC digital logs
Responsible for learning and retaining training and instructions of company inspection procedures
Turn off machines as needed that do not meet quality requirements
Communicate with shift supervisors on nonconformance issues and general discussion
Monitors product output, performs inspection according to requirements, and documents results using either paper documentation and/or SPC system
Interfaces with Production Control, Manufacturing Test, and Government QAR Representatives
Interprets engineering drawings and schematic diagrams
Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, mechanical, and electrical characteristics
Records test data
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
Other duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred
Minimum of 2 years of related experience required
