Responsibilities
Lead advanced infrastructure, roadway, and transportation engineering design, including plans, reports, calculations, and regulatory submissions
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and design strategies for assigned infrastructure projects
Conduct and lead project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
Provide technical leadership, QA/QC oversight, and mentorship for design deliverables
Apply advanced transportation engineering principles to solve complex design and construction challenges
Support business development, including proposal preparation, technical input, and client presentations
Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with Project Managers
Represent the project in client‑facing meetings, maintaining strong professional relationships
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license with the ability to obtain state licensure quickly if needed
8+ years of experience in infrastructure, roadway, or transportation engineering
Demonstrated experience with roadway design, transit design, utility coordination, or transportation infrastructure
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar civil design software
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for client‑facing environments
Proven ability to work independently on complex projects while also leading engineering teams
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
