Senior Electronics Engineer
Spero Engineering & Architecture is scaling its Oak Ridge operations and seeking four Senior Electronics Engineers to develop high-frequency drives and advanced motor control systems. The role involves leading the full lifecycle of electronic development for critical nuclear energy technology, from initial simulation to physical prototyping.

Responsibilities
Design & Simulate: Use Altium and PSpice/LTspice to architect complex analog and digital circuits
Build & Fabricate: Take designs from Analog Devices components directly to copper board layout and physical fabrication
Test & Validate: Lead the board-level testing and final system validation to ensure high-reliability performance in regulated environments
Innovate: Work with TCAD for device-level modeling and use Python to automate testing and refine user interfaces for motor controls
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible for DOE 'Q' Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
Deep experience in High-Frequency Drives, Analog-to-Digital board design, and motor engineering
Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, and simulation suites (PSpice/LTspice)
Preferred
A Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is highly preferred
Candidates with backgrounds from ORNL (Oak Ridge National Lab), EPRI, or high-intensity Military Electronics/Avionics roles
