Tarrant County is seeking a Building Services Technician II to provide maintenance for County buildings through preventive maintenance, equipment and machinery repairs, and other tasks. The role involves planning repair projects, performing remodeling tasks, and maintaining HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

Plans repair, building or remodeling projects accordingly. Orders needed supplies
Performs remodeling tasks for County buildings which may include one of the following skill sets being used by the incumbent: painting, carpentry or electrical work
Repairs and maintains HVAC systems and associated building equipment
Assists with moving furniture and office equipment
Sets up furniture in specific configurations for special events
Performs plumbing repairs
Assists and supervises the work of contractors and vendors
Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years' experience in building maintenance operations
Must have working knowledge of commercial building operations, life safety systems, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems
Valid driver's license

Proof of educational attainment is required during onboarding
Tarrant County will conduct background checks that will include a criminal background check
