Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Patient Services initiatives, including:
Patient onboarding and enrollment workflows
Benefits investigation and prior authorization processes
Copay and affordability programs
Patient adherence and persistence initiatives
Ongoing patient support services
Translate patient engagement strategies into user stories, functional specifications, and detailed acceptance criteria
Map end-to-end patient journeys across HCPs, patients, HUB vendors, and internal teams
Collaborate closely with Scrum Master and Technical Leads to support Agile delivery and sprint execution
Partner with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Privacy teams to ensure full compliance
Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage for patient services solutions
Assist in defining and tracking KPIs and success metrics , including enrollment conversion, adherence, and time-to-therapy
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Business Analyst within pharmaceutical commercial operations or patient services
Strong hands-on experience across Patient Services programs, including: Patient onboarding and enrollment, Benefits investigation and prior authorization, Patient adherence and persistence programs, Patient support services / HUB models
Proven experience writing detailed functional requirements, Agile user stories, and acceptance criteria
Strong stakeholder management skills with business users, IT teams, and external vendors
Solid understanding of pharma compliance requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, consent management, and adverse event (AE) reporting
