This entry-level position involves communicating with customers, managing order transactions, and resolving inquiries in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Provide support to customers via phone and email with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism
Receive and process purchase orders, changes, price adjustments, and cancellations
Review customer orders for accuracy: part numbers, terms, shipping/billing info, and delivery instructions
Retrieve and update order data using MRP system
Prepare and respond to requests for quotes using standard pricing and delivery terms
Support basic technical inquiries and escalate complex issues to the Technical Support team
Communicate with internal teams (Sales, Shipping, Accounting, Supply Chain) to resolve customer inquiries
Issue and follow through on Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs) and credit memos
Maintain accurate documentation and customer service files
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training
Provide backup support to other CSRs as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and resolve issues collaboratively
Preferred
Some customer service experience preferred; manufacturing experience a plus
Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred
