Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive technical writing and editing support, ensuring all documentation adheres to proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting standards
Performing configuration management of technical documents, maintaining an organized and accessible document library, and facilitating efficient access to government publications
Managing and classifying a large volume of documents, ensuring version control and consistency across all materials
Scheduling, facilitating, and documenting meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-through
Supporting project management activities, particularly related to procurement processes, evaluating progress against established goals and requirements
Assisting in document control, ensuring compliance with approved guidelines and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field
A minimum of two years of experience in technical writing, editing, formatting, and configuration management of documentation
Experience providing meeting support—including scheduling, facilitating, preparing minutes, and tracking action items
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, excellent communication abilities
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform standing, walking, twisting, bending, and squatting
Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level
US Citizenship being a prerequisite
Preferred
Background in project management support, particularly in evaluating if goals and requirements are met
Familiarity with Navy programs and Gun Weapon Systems
Working knowledge of MS Project
