AFB Social Club NYC is a creative organization dedicated to supporting female college students in New York City. They are seeking three interns to assist with digital marketing, event planning, and legal growth, providing hands-on experience in brand building, event execution, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing AFB’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and website content)
Ability to assist with WIX website creation or other website builder options
Create and schedule content including posts, captions, stories, and short-form video
Design promotional graphics, event flyers, and digital assets
Support re-branding efforts and creative campaigns for member engagement
Track engagement trends and suggest new content ideas
Collaborate with Event Planning Interns to promote monthly events and the annual fashion show
Assist with website updates and content refreshes as needed
Brainstorm engaging event ideas monthly
Assist in planning and executing monthly social events and one fashion show
Help with venue coordination, vendor outreach, and scheduling
Support event logistics including timelines, run-of-show, and check-ins
Assist with guest lists, RSVP tracking, and member communication
Attend select events to support setup, execution, and breakdown
Collaborate with the Digital & Content Marketing Intern on event promotion
Brainstorm creative concepts to elevate the AFB member experience
Research incorporation options, nonprofit filing, and business structures
Assist with documentation related to compliance and organizational growth
Support partnership research and outreach strategies with the Digital & Content Marketing Intern
Help develop internal systems for scaling membership and operations
Manage website membership sign-ups
Conduct market and competitor research related to women-focused organizations
Assist the Founder with growth planning and operational strategy
Provide administrative support related to contracts, policies, and filings (research-based only)

Required

Strong communication and collaborative skills, including interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies; enthusiasm for content creation and social media management is a plus
Passion for expanding a business and making work your own
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Experience with Microsoft Teams & Slack
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
Pursuing any undergraduate degree in NYC or in the NYC metro area
Interest in social events planning and a creative approach to engaging with diverse audiences
Must be able to attend and travel to planned events on-site
No prior internship or work experience required. However, demonstrated passion & skills will make you stand out for these roles
