Responsibilities
Own mechanical DFM/DFA across all ZiGGY systems
Design frames, chassis, enclosures, mounts, doors, and panels
Package batteries, power electronics, charger, cooling systems, and cabling
Optimize designs for cost, tolerance, yield, and assembly
Interface directly with fabricators and contract manufacturers
Produce drawings, BOMs, tolerances, and ECOs
Support builds, field feedback, and corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Strong experience with sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, assemblies
Advanced CAD skills
Experience working directly with manufacturers
Comfort owning designs that ship and operate in the field
Preferred
Robotics, automotive, and/or aerospace experience
