Executive Assistant to the CEO

The Door is New York City’s premiere youth development organization, providing comprehensive support to vulnerable New Yorkers. The Executive Assistant to the CEO plays a key role in managing the CEO’s day-to-day affairs and coordinating the operations of the administrative office while supporting the senior management team in various projects.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Office
Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and key engagements
Partner closely with the Senior Team on agency operations and special projects, as assigned
Oversee administrative office operations and serve as a liaison across Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Development, Data, Programs, and Information Technology
Support coordination and communication between The Door and Broome Street Academy (BSA)
Provide administrative and logistical support for the Board of Directors
Assist with planning and execution of agency-wide activities and events
Support the CEO’s day-to-day workflow, priorities, and time management
Provide on-site support to the CEO during special events and key engagements
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO and Chief of Staff

Required

Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of experience required
Ambitious work ethic and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
Proven project management ability and impeccable time-management skills
History of success in roles requiring creative and critical thinking; ability to think out-of-the-box
Ability to demonstrate exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills across a range of tasks and audiences
Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, manage multiple tasks, and take initiative
Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Excellent writing, speaking, and general communication skills
Commitment to the agency's mission and the social service model
