Responsibilities
Execute daily oversight of variation, margins, and large trader positions to protect the integrity of the clearing house and financial system
Evaluate the risk profiles of proposed products and establish their parameters within risk systems to ensure proper margin coverage upon launch
Produce detailed reports on asset classes, clearing members (FCMs), and customer activity to support decision-making for senior management
Facilitate and document annual risk assessments for counterparty firms, maintaining active communication with both FCM and Clearing House leadership
Act as a primary resource for customers regarding margin inquiries and the use of the PC-SPAN tool, ensuring timely and accurate technical assistance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
1–3 years of professional experience in risk management, financial analysis, or a related analytical role
Professional experience with Bloomberg and Excel; basic to intermediate Python programming skills for data analysis and process automation
Practical knowledge of PC-SPAN or similar margining software to determine coverage and risk characteristics
Proven ability to manage risk through margin analysis, tolerance testing, and concentration risk monitoring
Ability to translate complex risk data into concise updates for senior leadership and external stakeholders
