Responsibilities
Develop, test, and document data acquisition scripts based on client specifications
Translate timestamps/ metric requirements into Epic compatible logic
Validate scripts against Epic environments for accuracy and stability
Review partner hospital Epic setups (including custom workflows, Clarity/ Caboodle build, module variations)
Maintain/ update specifications as new hospitals onboard
Troubleshoot Epic data issues and advise on workflows/integration patterns
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years hands on Epic experience (clinical modules, data models, or reporting)
Proficiency with Epic data extraction (Clarity/ Caboodle/ Chronicles preferred)
Strong SQL and scripting capability
Experience with Epic build components (SmartSets, SmartForms, BPAs, Orders)
Solid understanding of clinical workflows and EMR data structures
Ability to interpret data requirements and convert them into technical deliverables
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
Preferred
Epic certifications (Orders, ClinDoc, Cadence, Prelude, Willow, Beacon, etc.)
Experience working with custom Epic builds or multi site variations
Background in data integration, ETL patterns, or healthcare analytics
Familiarity with Bridges, interfaces, or Epic reporting environments
