Required

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Technology or related field OR an associate degree in Welding Technology, Mechanical or Industrial Technology or a related field
Must also have a minimum of three (3) years experience in Welding
Candidates will be required to acquire AWS CWI or CWE certifications within two (2) years as a condition of employment

Preferred

Three (3) years of formal welding training sufficient for skill development in a college or a vocational or military training school is highly preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are required
Faculty must remain current in their discipline and show evidence of ongoing professional development
Qualified applicants must perform welding performance tests in all processes to be taught
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential
Candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual change in information technology
