Responsibilities
Organize and maintain schedules for Engineering and R&D meetings, projects, and activities
Adjust schedules based on customer requests, department priorities, and resource availability
Assist with coordinating engineering personnel schedules across plant locations
Support timeline tracking to help ensure projects and sample requests stay on schedule
Maintain Sales Orders and Research Jobs related to customer sample requests
Track customer sample activity and approvals through the model year lifecycle
Help manage internal fit and approval processes from initiation through final sign-off
Maintain accurate records and tracking spreadsheets related to engineering work
Represent Engineering/R&D in daily planning meetings as needed
Work with Sales, Planning, Purchasing, and Accounting to help resolve scheduling and order questions
Assist Planning and Purchasing with tracking sample requests for new materials or equipment
Provide backup administrative support to Planning and Sales teams when needed
Maintain data in company software systems used for engineering scheduling and tracking
Support updates to procedures and documentation related to planning and scheduling activities
Assist with special requests involving internal software tools used by Engineering and customers
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of experience in scheduling, planning support, or administrative coordination (manufacturing or technical environment preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient with spreadsheets and general business software
Clear and professional communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or technical teams
Familiarity with order tracking or production-related systems
