Responsibilities
Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment and defective components, including electrical and mechanical parts
Troubleshoot and maintain:
AC/DC drives
PLCs
Relay logic
Motors, starters, and lighting
Heating and cooling equipment
General plant wiring and control devices (limit switches, timers, counters, blowers, lubrication, chilled water, and compressed air systems)
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and overhauls on production and process equipment
Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment
Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service windows
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
Perform basic plumbing maintenance and carpentry work
Detect faulty operations or defective materials and report issues to proper supervision
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing production equipment OR 2+ years of formal education with completion of a Maintenance Technician Training program
4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial maintenance skills, and some PLC experience
OSHA-approved forklift certification required
Knowledge and proper utilization of Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
Must pass a background check (no misdemeanors or felonies)
Must pass a drug test
