Responsibilities
Software Development: Design, develop, and enhance software solutions for communication and cyber intelligence systems with guidance
Testing: Test software in an Agile development environment
Collaboration: Work directly with Senior software engineers, project engineers, and supporting organizations to ensure successful software project execution
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Collins development processes and standard work requirements
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Educational knowledge and project application on software development using Linux and/or C++, including debugging, integration, and deployment on software platforms
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Knowledge in basic Linux shell scripting, Python or Perl
Working knowledge of programming languages such as C++ or C#
Software level debugging experience
Experience with Database technologies
Familiarity with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Coverity
