Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on structural steel components and assemblies used in concrete casting systems
Weld frames, supports, brackets, and fabricated steel structures
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
Measure, cut, fit, tack, and weld materials to specifications
Inspect completed welds for quality, penetration, and structural integrity
Operate hand and power tools such as grinders, saws, calipers, and squares
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of recent MIG welding experience (structural or fabrication preferred)
Ability to pass a MIG weld test
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Experience welding carbon steel or structural steel
Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
AWS certification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
