Giga is a voice AI startup that builds AI agents trusted by the largest B2C companies in the world. They are seeking a Staff Frontend Infrastructure Engineer to build tools and systems that enhance the productivity of their frontend engineers.

Responsibilities

Building and maintaining a component library with clean APIs, consistent patterns, and great documentation
CLIs, build tooling, and automation that speeds up frontend development workflows
Type checking improvements, linting rules, testing utilities, and other guardrails that catch problems early
Establishing patterns for state management, data fetching, and component composition that scale as the codebase grows
Make decisions about our frontend foundations and drive adoption across the team
Balance building the 'right' abstraction with shipping something useful now

Required

5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with time spent on infrastructure, platform, or design systems work
Strong opinions about frontend API design—you care about how components are consumed, not just how they look
Enjoy building tools and abstractions that other engineers use daily
Think deeply about developer experience and take pride in making things easy to use
Proficient in TypeScript and React, with experience building component libraries or shared packages
Can balance perfectionism with pragmatism
