Responsibilities

Provide programming knowledge and skills in database development, problem identification, analysis and resolution
Provide requirements analysis and design for maintenance or development change proposals
Thoroughly test and document all programming or procedural changes to PL/SQL used within the division
Perform systems and program modifications to meet customer objectives as well as optimize system performance
Work independently or with other developers to create and support program applications within the division
Work with the supervisor, technical architects, other technical leads and various business units and analysts to ensure that organizational goals and requirements are met

Required

Minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in PL/SQL programming and development
Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle
Demonstrate an understanding of data integrity fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a manner that facilitates mutual understanding
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving to deliver positive user experiences

Preferred

Education in Information Technology (IT) or an IT related field may substitute for experience as follows: a master's degree for eighteen (18) months of experience; a bachelor's degree for one (1) year; and an associate's degree for six (6) months
