Benefits and Leave Specialist

Campers Inn RV is the Nation’s Largest Family-Operated RV Dealership, seeking a Benefits and Leave Specialist to manage employee benefits and leave programs. This role involves facilitating benefits administration, managing leaves of absence, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

Facilitate employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits
Support open enrollment, new hire onboarding, life event changes, and terminations
Serve as a primary employee contact for benefits questions and issue resolution
Coordinate with benefits vendors, brokers, and payroll to ensure accurate enrollments and deductions
Maintain benefits data in HRIS and ensure records are accurate and up to date
Administer employee leaves of absence including FMLA, ADA, state leaves, military, and company-provided leaves
Track leave usage, documentation, and return-to-work status
Partner with employees and managers to explain leave options, timelines, and expectations
Completes injury reporting, claim tracking, and absence management for workers compensation claims
Ensure benefit and leave practices comply with applicable federal, state and local laws as well as company policies
Conducts audits and produces routine and ad hoc reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Identify opportunities to improve processes, employee communication, and efficiency
Support benefits communications, guides, and training materials

Required

2-year degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
2–4 years of benefits and leave administration experience
Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, ACA multi - state leave laws, and common benefits plans and compliance
Experience working with HRIS, vendors, and employee case management
Employee-focused and service-oriented approach
Strong organization, follow-up, and documentation skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Clear written and verbal communication
Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines
