Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications on the SAP NetWeaver Java Server
Utilize SAP NetWeaver Development Studio (NWDS) Version 7.5 or lower for application development
Develop components using Web Dynpro Java, JSP, Servlets, and other SAP Java frameworks
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP Java applications, deployment, and performance
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and convert them into scalable solutions
Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and adhere to development best practices
Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes within SAP NetWeaver environments
Prepare and maintain technical documentation

Required

Strong, hands-on experience in SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (or earlier versions)
Expertise in SAP NetWeaver Development Studio (NWDS)
Proficiency in Java/J2EE development, specifically on the SAP Java Server
Experience working with SAP Java technologies such as Web Dynpro Java, JSP, Servlets, and related components
Good understanding of SAP Portal, UME, KM, and NWDI (added advantage)
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience with application lifecycle management and deployment processes within SAP

Preferred

Experience in SAP system upgrades or migrations
Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration concepts
Ability to work in agile or hybrid development environments
Strong communication and documentation skills
