Responsibilities
Design and govern regulatory-grade enterprise architectures that withstand FDA scrutiny and GxP requirements
Embed validation, data integrity, traceability, and change control into system designs by default
Ensure systems remain continuously audit-ready, eliminating episodic inspection preparation
Identify and prioritize AI use cases tied to measurable operational, quality, and revenue outcomes
Design validated AI architectures with explainability, governance, and clear GxP boundaries
Integrate AI into enterprise workflows to improve forecasting, deviation detection, and decision accuracy
Translate business strategy into a sequenced enterprise capability roadmap aligned to growth and risk
Own enterprise integration standards supporting scale, acquisitions, and external partners
Prevent architectural fragmentation through enforced standards and proactive design reviews
Architect systems for elastic scale, high availability, and predictable performance under growth
Identify and mitigate architectural risks impacting uptime, compliance, and data integrity
Enable continuous change through modular design while limiting operational blast radius
Build and lead a high-performing enterprise architecture organization from the ground up
Establish rigorous operating rhythms, metrics, and review cadences that drive execution
Foster an ownership-centered culture focused on outcomes, accountability, and trust
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, systems strategy, or technology leadership roles within complex, high-growth organizations
Demonstrated success designing and scaling enterprise platforms in regulated or mission-critical environments
Proven experience building and leading high-performance technical teams from the ground up
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Track record of executive influence, cross-functional leadership, and delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives
Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, systems integration, and platform design within complex, regulated environments, including FDA and GxP expectations for validation, data integrity, and audit readiness
Proven ability to design and govern responsible AI architectures, including data pipelines, model lifecycle management, explainability, and separation of regulated and non-regulated use cases
Strong strategic planning capabilities, translating business objectives into sequenced capability roadmaps that balance growth acceleration, compliance risk, and long-term architectural integrity
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, enabling influence across executives, Quality, Compliance, IT, and Operations in high-stakes, fast-growth environments
