Application System Analyst

The Information Services Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts within the organization’s information systems, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for application support.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison during project implementation, including build, configuration, testing, and go-live phases
Oversee application support activities, ensuring issues are escalated appropriately and resolutions are delivered efficiently
Lead process and requirement analysis by mapping current workflows, eliciting stakeholder requirements, and documenting project plans
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clinical and administrative stakeholders, leveraging these relationships to identify new opportunities and address potential conflicts proactively
Manage team workloads, mentoring junior staff, and facilitating cross-training to ensure high-quality deliverables meet organizational expectations
Prepare comprehensive project status reports, communicate effectively with all levels of management, and coordinate cross-application work sessions to optimize system functionality
Work closely with application development and compliance teams to design and implement system processes aligned with organizational policies
Stay current with Epic updates, including Nova release notes, User Forum discussions, and other documentation, to apply best practices and enhance system performance
Manage large or sensitive projects, providing guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, and may be required to travel or work additional hours during critical periods
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or information systems
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience supporting healthcare, business, or information systems
Project management experience of at least 2 years or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to present complex data clearly and effectively
Healthcare knowledge, especially in clinical workflows and systems like Epic
Ability to work independently
Lead multidisciplinary teams
Manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Supervisory experience
Certifications relevant to the focus area, particularly Epic module proficiency or certification
