Sr Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative furniture and cabinetry products from initial concept through to production, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer needs
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to bring product ideas to life, ensuring feasibility and market relevance
Conduct user research and testing to validate product features, performance, and safety, integrating insights into the design process
Create detailed CAD models, prototypes, and comprehensive product documentation to facilitate manufacturing and quality assurance
Apply engineering principles to ensure that products are safe, reliable, and manufacturable, considering cost and production efficiency
Balance aesthetic appeal with functional requirements, cost constraints, and production capabilities to deliver market-leading products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial design, or an equivalent discipline
Minimum of five years of experience designing furniture or cabinetry products from concept to launch
Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or SketchUp
Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and safety standards relevant to furniture and cabinetry production
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams
Keen eye for detail

Demonstrated experience in balancing aesthetics with functionality, cost considerations, and production feasibility
