Maintain legacy systems and build new internal tools
Own things end to end — from requirements to production
Ensure uptime and data integrity in a fast-paced environment
Build modern UIs with Microsoft Blazor (server side only)
Qualification
Required
C#/.NET as primary language
Deep SQL Server experience: indexing, query optimization, stored procedures, database design — not just writing SELECT statements
Has worked in existing/legacy codebases, not just greenfield
Must be good with 5 days onsite in Manhattan
Financial services background — banking, asset management, hedge funds, insurance big plus
Experience building internal tools where the users are demanding business stakeholders
Worked on small teams where they owned things end to end
Build modern UIs with Microsoft Blazor (server side only)
VB.NET exposure
Exposure or enthusiasm for 'vibe coding'
