Business Systems Analyst 3 (N-IT)
Everest Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst 3 to analyze and improve computer systems for various data processing problems. The role involves expanding systems, testing and maintaining programs, and providing assistance to staff and users.

Responsibilities
Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow
Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer-related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems
Review and analyze computer printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes
Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles
Confer with clients regarding the nature of information processing or computation needs, a computer program is to address
Read manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn how to develop programs that meet staff and user requirements
Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared
Determine computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system
Qualification
Required
A degree in Information Technology, Technical Management, Information Management, Engineering, Business Systems, Computer Science or a directly related technical discipline is preferred
10 years of experience is required with an applicable Associate's degree
8 years of experience is required with an applicable Bachelor's degree
12 years of experience is required without a degree
Experience should be consistent with the specific requirements of business systems analysis and progressively more technical in nature
Advanced knowledge of Visio and/or other flowchart tools
Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience in utilizing a requirements management tool
Expert knowledge in supporting full lifecycle of projects through the IT Systems Development Lifecycle
Expert knowledge in IT planning, functional and technical specifications, and system life-cycle (SLC) management
Experience Supporting Requirements Development, to include: Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops to elicit business requirements, Research, analyze, model and organize information for developing requirements, Decompose high-level information and abstract up from low-level information to distinguish solution ideas from business needs, Facilitate requirements validation sessions and present findings to stakeholders, Collaborate to resolve requirements conflicts between stakeholders, Research, document, and validate current and future state processes and designs (functional and technical), Help define best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for alternative business solutions analyses
Preferred
Experience in organizational change management methods and tools
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
