Responsibilities

Responsible for accurate and timely monthly reporting of ridership to National Transit Database (NTD), American Public Transportation Association (APTA), and other entities as needed

Integration of data from a wide variety of sources, including ensuring quality control and data integrity

Development of dashboards, reports, and presentations on system data metrics for both internal and external audiences

Development and monitoring of system-wide performance metrics to track organizational growth and improvement

Dissemination of data to and collaboration with internal customers including service planning, budget and finance, and other RIPTA business units to support ongoing innovation and decision-making

Tracking performance of agency initiatives to determine effectiveness

Proactive identification of performance trends to drive decision-making

Creates, analyzes, and manages spatial information using software like ArcGIS

Develops and maintains associated reports and systems; coordinates as needed on data validation

Comfortable working with datasets and statistical analysis tools

Maintenance and updating of datasets

Ongoing analysis of system performance trends

Accurate and timely monthly reporting of ridership to National Transit Database (NTD), American Public Transportation Association (APTA), and other entities as needed
