10+ years expVARITE INC is seeking a Principal Risk Analyst to join their Electric Risk Management team. This role involves evaluating and implementing a risk management framework while collaborating with various teams to assess new and emerging risks and enhance key risk indicators.

Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with our asset strategy, engineering, wildfire, regulatory, and compliance teams
Work closely with asset family owners and compliance teams to evaluate new and emerging risks
Facilitate conversations with SMEs and Risk Teams to enhance or develop new KRIs
Assist in data collection efforts for risk analysis initiatives being conducted
Leverage relationships and support the development of risk presentations for different audiences (e.g. RCC, SLT Risk Deep Dives, SNO Material)
Other areas of support include: GRC and regulatory data requests and BPD deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Ten years of experience in risk management, utility operations, and/or related field
Preferred
10+ years' experience in electric operations, asset management, and strategy
Ability to synthesize complex issues into easy-to-understand concepts
Ability to work across multiple functions and build strong working relationships
Ability to influence varying levels of leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to facilitate decision-making and engage appropriate SMEs in problem-solving teams
