Responsibilities

Create detailed permit drawings using AutoCAD, including plan and profile views of intersections, utilities, and proposed fiber routes
Translate field measurements and survey data into accurate digital maps
Utilize GIS platforms (ArcGIS/ESRI) to manage spatial data and align projects with utility grids
Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with agencies (City, County, DOT, private utilities)
Ensure drawings meet customer specifications and jurisdictional standards
Collaborate with field technicians and project managers to resolve design conflicts

Required

Minimum 2 years of experience in utilities permitting (Fiber, Power, Gas, or Water)

Strong knowledge of Right-of-Way (ROW) requirements and utility franchise agreements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Proven ability to interpret field notes and translate measurements into scaled map sets
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and resourceful problem solver
