Responsibilities

Utilize production schedules and/or shipping orders, transports materials or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
Move product packed on pallets or in crates as required
Check to make sure loads are secure
May need to stack empty pallets. Notifies supervisor of any pallets which are not in the correct locations
Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
May be required to use RF scanner handheld unit to scan pallets
Maintain a clean and safety working environment
Performs all duties in a safe manner following facility guidelines

Required

Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field
Prior experience operating pallet jacks is required

Preferred

High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required
Experience in a poultry processing/manufacturing environment
