The Senior Hardware Engineer will design and develop camera hardware systems and lead the integration of multi-sensor systems while collaborating with AI/ML and software teams.

Responsibilities
Design and develop camera hardware systems, including logic boards (PCBs) and sensor integration
Lead schematic design, PCB layout review, component selection, and board bring-up
Integrate and validate multi-sensor systems (optical, thermal, depth, RF, or related sensing technologies)
Work closely with AI/ML and software teams to support edge inference requirements
Optimize designs for performance, power consumption, heat dissipation, and reliability
Oversee prototyping, testing, debugging, and iteration
Prepare hardware for manufacturing readiness (DFM/DFA, BOMs, vendor coordination)
Support compliance and certification requirements (FCC, CE, etc.) as the product matures
Own the hardware roadmap from prototype → pilot → production
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in hardware engineering, embedded systems, or camera/device development
Deep expertise in logic board / PCB design
Strong experience integrating sensors (camera modules, thermal sensors, depth sensors, radar, or similar)
Experience with SoCs, edge AI boards, or embedded processors (NVIDIA, Qualcomm, NXP, etc.)
Solid understanding of signal integrity, power management, and EMI
Hands-on experience with board bring-up, debugging, and validation
Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment and own the hardware end-to-end
Preferred
Experience with computer vision hardware or AI camera systems
Background in security, surveillance, or safety-critical systems
Experience working with contract manufacturers
Familiarity with thermal design and enclosure constraints
Previous startup or early-stage product experience
